YOUR DAY AT POPL
- making sure all food is of the best quality, we only work with high quality ingredients, and it is your job to notice the details.
- constant communication with the kitchen and other colleagues.
- being in charge of tasks being completed during the day, delegating.
- being responsible for everything necessary to be ready for service, guiding your teammates towards that.
- aware of the situation in the kitchen in terms of task delegation, time management, and procedures.
- keeping the environment around you clean and safe.
- you will be bringing and explaining dishes to guests and interacting with them!
- making/ updating MEP lists and following them.
- introducing new systems for improving what we do, and making sure the team is informed and able to follow.
- keeping track of the stock.
- working in all kitchen sections, checking and helping with different kitchen prep tasks.
- preparing dishes following our recipes and teaching your colleagues.
- being part of creating a safe and pleasant environment for the team, we spend a lot of time together!
WHO YOU ARE
- interested in becoming part of a close team.

- minimum a year of kitchen experience.

POPL is a neighborhood restaurant located on an iconic corner by the water, in the area of Christianshavn. The name POPL derives from the Latin word “populus”, meaning community of people. It also refers to poplar wood, a nod to our approach and great love for nature.
